Constrained by circumstances and unable to travel for other projects, I spent most of 2014 engaged with a project I could continue on a daily basis. Inspired by the still lifes of 18th century French painter, Chardin, with his use of domestic objects, I have continued to explore the qualities of light, while attempting to create powerful compositions from the everyday.
